DAM United AG brings together leading international digital asset management experts

Established DAM service provider network expands in terms of personnel and merges to AG. The international DAM specialists offer customers neutral Consultation and Full service for fastidious multimedia solutions in the Enterprise range from one hand.

Essen, Berlin, 10.10.2017 – After two years of successful, joint cooperation, the experts for digital asset management solutions at FHCon GmbH in Essen and The Final Candidate GmbH in Berlin merged to form DAM United AG on 27.09.2017. The merger offers customers complete DAM expertise under one roof.

In addition, three international top managers with relevant DAM and business know-how were recruited for the Supervisory Board:

JENNIFER NEUMANN is chairman of the board. She co-founded Canto, a DAM producer, and helped the company achieve an international breakthrough with the development of Cumulus DAM software. Over the past 12 years, she has helped companies across industries with the planning and implementation of large-scale document management solutions.

ANDREAS ULLMANN was instrumental in the business success and strong internationalization of the DAM manufacturer Canto as President and COO from 1996 to 2003. For more than 14 years he has worked as a management consultant and interim manager for IT companies worldwide in product management, marketing and sales. DAM United AG will support Andreas Ullmann with his many years of expertise in administration, marketing and sales.

ANDRÉ SCHEIDT has led the risk management department of international companies in Germany and Switzerland for many years. Especially in the chemical/pharmaceutical/medtech industry, where DAM systems are used as standard, he has deep knowledge. DAM United AG will support André Scheidt with his many years of business expertise and his corporate network.

About the Executive Board of DAM United AG:

Roland Berg has maintained close relationships with the leading DAM manufacturers, system integrators and numerous DAM users as a networker for 25 years. He has been driving Canto’s DACH business for many years as Director of German Operations and successfully built Canto’s partner network. In 2006, together with Jens-Thomas Hönow, he founded the DAM service provider “The Final Candidate”.

Jens-Thomas Hönow is one of the most experienced technical DAM experts in the world. Over the past 18 years, he has been instrumental in developing and refining the DAM solutions of leading manufacturers such as Canto and OpenText, implementing numerous integrations and designing, implementing and optimizing projects for large international companies.

Andreas Fink has been dealing with the fusion of classical and digital media for 25 years. He has learnt the handling of prepress and printing as well as software development from scratch. He has been in the DAM business since 1997 and has implemented DAM projects and developed efficiency-enhancing solutions (e.g. InDesign automation) for numerous well-known customers. In 2008 he founded the DAM service provider FHCon GmbH together with his wife Tanja and Oliver Häuser.

Tanja Fink has been active in the media industry for over 20 years. Their expertise ranges from classic printing projects to the creation of digital archives and the design of frontend/GUI based on the latest standards. Prior to her self-employment with FHCon, she worked for ten years in media project management for a large German discounter.

Oliver Häuser has implemented DAM projects in almost all industries – including training/workshops, conception, consulting, installation and configuration over the past 15 years. He has designed and developed numerous interfaces for DAM/PIM/media production in the market..
